Let's face it: Few things make you get up and shake your moneymaker like Latin music. This weekend, there are two music festivals and celebrations that put Latin music in the forefront. Xemumba Fest is happening on the east side, at the venue Kenny Dorham's Backyard (the lot next to Victory Grill on 11th). See the poster for details. Then there's Viva La Vida Fest happening downtown. It's the Mexic-Arte Museum's official Dia De Los Muertos celebration and it features live music by many bands, including local Latin favorites Charanga Cakewalk. Read about both of those events at AustinVida.com.
