This is an old interview I found of Ian Moore from 2004 at the Blue Door in Oklahoma City. It's a beautiful interview that gives great insight to the man behind the music. Enjoy!!

Artist empowerment… What does that mean to you? To us it means the freedom to explore the artistic boundaries without fear of label intervention. To us it means our artists own the art that they create and the copyrights that allow them to control the destiny of their art.
To us it means that with each new album that our artists create, it is their choice to honor us with the right to work with them. To us it means no longer being bound to longterm contracts that reduce them to the life of an indentured servant. To us it means Justice.

TODAY...I once asked Ian, at a time when life was very on the surface emotionally...(which it may be every time he plays it, probably is)...he was breaking strings on that song because his emotions were being poured into every note and every night and I saw him play several nights in a row...and one night I asked, "How to you play that song every night and get through it?". He looked at me and simply said, "How do I not."
True. Thanks Ian.
