Austin-based band …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead (often abbreviated as Trail of Dead) has six acclaimed albums to its musical resume. The latest-The Century of Self-was released on February 17, 2009.

The band’s break-thru album was its 2002 release,Source Tags & Codes. It received universal acclaim including a 10/10 rating from Pitchfork,which hailed it as “one of indie rock’s truly epic albums”. While touring in support of Source…, the band received praise from Rolling Stone, who commented on the group dynamic as “post-punk Voltron, that just might be the most exciting unit working today.”
